March 21, 2019. On March 30 this year O1 Properties will take part in Earth Hour initiative, which is organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and marked annually around the world. External illumination at all of the Company’s business centres will be switched off for 60 minutes from 20.30 in recognition of Earth Hour.

Earth Hour is a well-established international initiative, which focuses attention on problems associated with rapid consumption of the Earth’s natural resources. The slogan of this year’s event is “Take responsibility for Nature”.

As part of its program of corporate social responsibility, O1 Properties pays special attention to issues of ecology and the reduction of negative impacts from the urban environment. The company was among the first in Moscow to certify its business centres to the BREEAM international environmental performance standard and to implement a policy of separate waste collection. O1 Properties has supported the Earth Hour initiative since 2011.

As part of the Earth Hour campaign, the WWF is asking as many people as possible to take part in surveys and studies of environmental problems in regions, where they live.
