March 23, 2020. O1 Properties, one of the largest owners of class-A office real estate in Moscow, will take part in this year’s Earth Hour, led by the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF). Earth Hour will take place on March 28 and O1 Properties will express its support by turning off external lighting at all of the company’s business centres for one hour from 20:30 on that day.

Earth Hour is an annual high-profile global event, designed to focus international attention on the issue of natural resource depletion on Planet Earth. Earth Hour will be held for the 14th time in 2020 under the slogan “Everyone can!”

O1 Properties has taken part in Earth Hour every year since 2011. The company has also shown commitment to reducing environmental impact in many other ways. O1 Properties was among the first in Moscow to certify its business centres to the internationally recognised BREEAM environmental standards and led the way with separate waste collection. More than 598,000 square metres of space at company properties is now BREEAM certified.
