6 July, 2020. O1 Properties took first prize in Russia’s “Green and Healthy Office 2020” awards in the category “Most Environmentally-Open Company”. The annual contest, which evaluates corporate projects for the creation of healthy and environmentally efficient offices, is organised by MBS in partnership with PwC with the support of the Capital Repairs Department of the Moscow City Government.
The “Green and Healthy Office” awards are designed to encourage best environmental practices in office management and resource conservation, and to support corporate programmes that aim to protect employee health. Over 100 Russian and international companies took part in this year’s competition, and prizes were awarded in seven categories.

The company is introducing green technologies and environmentally sustainable practices, which reduce the consumption of basic resources and enhance the well-being of end-users. Actions to date include certification of business centres to the international BREEAM environmental standards, separate collection and sorting of waste, and environmental audits to further improve performance and to reduce carbon footprint. O1 Properties has been a member of the UN Global Compact since 2019, publishes an annual report on corporate social responsibility and works to raise awareness of key stakeholders about environmental issues in commercial real estate. O1 Properties shared its experience of preventing the spread of COVID-19 in its business centres as part of the “Green and Healthy Office 2020” awards.
